The .38 Special operates at relatively low SAAMI maximum pressure (17,500 PSI) compared to modern service calibers, which means the brass is lightly stressed on each firing and holds up exceptionally well over multiple reloads. If you run a revolver in .38 Special — or load .38 Special for a .357 Magnum revolver — this is your bulk brass source.
